Xiaomi Scooter 4 Ultra Review: Features, Specs, and Price

Xiaomi finally unveils the Xiaomi Scooter 4 Ultra at the MWC 2023 bringing impressive specs that include a maximum range of 70km, IP55 resistance rating, 10-inch Xiaomi DuraGel Tires, 12000mAh battery, and more. This makes it a much more premium electric scooter than its predecessors.

The Xiaomi Scooter 4 Ultra was launched alongside the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro both having top-notch specs especially a new record 300W HyperCharge that fully charges the phone within 5 minutes. Furthermore, the scooter offers a smooth and safe ride even in soft terrain and the introduction of a dual suspension system helps to reduce any jolts or vibration you may get while riding.

Back to the Scooter 4 Ultra, there’s no doubt Xiaomi is doing everything possible to take over the technology world. The new scooter unarguably blows the previous scooter – Xiaomi Scooter Pro 2 out of the water.

Design, Speed, and Battery

Design

The new Xiaomi Scooter 4 Ultra experienced a slight design overhaul as it comes with a heightened chassis and a broader handlebar now extending it to 490mm. To put it into perspective, the chassis is built out of an aluminium body and can carry a maximum load of 120kg.

Fortunately, the Scooter 4 Ultra is IP55 rated, giving it mild protection against dust and splash. Users can connect with the Xiaomi Home or Mi Home app to track and collect their riding records. It can be equally used to switch on the front and tail lights for night riding. Nevertheless, the scooter has 10-inch Xiaomi DuraGel Tires that are puncture-proof thereby making it able to withstand sharp stones or stroll through rough roads.

As we mentioned earlier, the Scooter 4 Ultra has a maximum range of 70km before the battery needs a recharge. The scooter will be able to reach a top speed of up to 25km/h which makes it top out around 45km. There’s a Sports+ or S+ mode you can toggle on if you want faster acceleration.

Meanwhile, the powerful brushless motor has a peak power of 940W which makes the electric scooter speed up to 25kmph, and the scooter can apparently handle inclines up to 25% with ease.

The Xiaomi Scooter 4 Ultra features a large 561.5W lithium battery that has a maximum range of 70km and takes approximately 6 hours, 30 minutes to charge.
