Design
The new iTel S23 Plus has a different design from the S23, sporting an iPhone-like camera design at the back. This is the same design trend we’ve seen on most recent Infinix and Tecno phones, so it’s a good thing it’s now on an iTel device.
It’s good to say that the S23 Plus is the most beautiful iTel phone especially the plastic back that could be mistaken as flagship. It’s an eye-catching phone that’ll draw the attention of your friends immediately after you bring it out.
One great feature of the iTel S23 Plus design is the trendy USB-C port that’s now on the new Apple iPhone 15 series. It’s a good thing that you now have one unique charger for all your gadgets, minus laptops but we’re hoping it’ll be integrated into laptops soon.
As expected, the S23 Plus has an In-display fingerprint scanner for security that’s fast and responsive although there’s another alternative of either PIN or Face unlock. Meanwhile, you’ll get the usual SIM tray that’s on the left with the volume rockers on the opposite side of the phone. The iTel S23 Plus screen is arguably the best feature of the phone. As we earlier mentioned, the back of the iTel S23 Plus draws design inspiration from Apple iPhones. The square-shaped camera module sports a 50MP primary shooter and a 2MP depth sensor. Upfront is a dot-hole notch that houses the 32MP selfie camera.
Of course, the S23 Plus has some camera upgrades with the 32MP selfie camera having some photo enhancements like Face Unlock, Face Beauty, and HDR to improve your selfie-taking experience. Also, it supports 1080p@30fps video recording for high-definition selfies just as we expected.
The rear camera performance is not left behind as the 50MP main shooter with an f/1.8 aperture makes sure that no great moments of your life are left out without an impressive photo coverage. However, it takes the best shots in good lighting conditions, but with LED lights, you can take some pictures at night but don’t expect the best results, although that depends on your camera expertise. Meanwhile, the lens ensures high-quality video recording through its 1080p@30fps capturing.

Under the hood, the iTel S23 Plus features an average Unisoc Tiger T616 chipset built on a 12nm processor.
