The iTel S16 Pro LTE or S16 Pro 4G is the big brother model in the iTel’s S16 series which was launched in September 2020. The front panel features a 6.6-inches HD+ screen with 720 x 1600 pixels resolution. Under the hood, there’s an octa-core UniSoC SC9863A processor and PowerVR GE8322 GPU. The iTel S16 Pro LTE comes with 2GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded through the dedicated microSD card slot up to 128GB.
Unlike most iTel phones, this device brings a triple camera setup for taking pictures. The main camera has a 13MP sensor which is supported by two auxiliary sensors, including a 2MP depth sensor and an Al lens. iTel launched the S17 just a year after the release of its predecessor the S16 in September 2020. When you bring the two phones together, you can easily notice the difference.
The iTel S17 features a classic design, probably the best we have seen from an iTel phone. Its front panel has a 6.6-inch teardrop display with a resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels and 1B colors which makes the content that is displayed on the screen vibrant and colorful.
Interestingly, there’s a smile selfie camera (5MP) that automatically captures your photo once you smile without you clicking the shutter button. There’s also an 8MP triple camera for taking pictures. The 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage might not be enough for most users.
Fortunately, there’s a 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage variant. Also, the expansion of memory is possible through the dedicated microSD card slot.
This phone features a Mediatek MT6580A chipset under the hood including a huge 5000mAh battery. For the best customizable features, the iTel S17 runs the Android 11 OS (Go edition).
