The Xiaomi Redmi 11 Prime is an all-around performer that’s powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 6nm chipset. It debuts with a 6.58-inch LCD screen, 1080 x 2408 pixels resolution (FHD+), and a 90Hz smooth refresh rate. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 3 which is not the highest level but does well in shielding the screen against an unnecessary break.
On the back is a triple camera system which comprises a 50MP primary shooter, and two 2MP sensors for macro and depth. The waterdrop notch upfront houses the 8MP selfie camera.
Just like its 5G model, the Redmi 11 Prime ships with a 5000mAh battery life, alongside a 22.5W charger, but only supports 18W top-ups. There’s a USB Type-C 2.0 port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 5.3, an IR blaster, and NFC support.
The Xiaomi Redmi 11 Prime was launched on September 6 with its official flash sales starting on the 9th of the same month.
The Xiaomi Redmi 11 Prime is expected to start selling at a price of INR12,999 for the 4GB /64GB and INR14,999 for its higher 6GB /128GB model. The Redmi 11 Prime and the recently launched Poco M5 have similar specs, but with a slight difference in price as the Poco M5 sells at INR13,300 for its base 4GB /64GB model.
