Android 13 on Infinix: Expected Release Date
Infinix is yet to announce any official release date for Android 13. However, since Android 13 is already in its final beta stage, we expect an official release date soon.
The Android 13 is expected to be released in either October or November 2022, so we expect Infinix to start rolling out the Android 13 update to its eligible phones from January 2023. This will be after the company is done with the Android 12-based XOS 7.6 OS distribution.
Android 13 On Infinix Phones: Eligible Infinix Phones
As of now, there’s no official Android 13 update list from Infinix or time of when the distribution will start. Based on the poor Android update rollout policy of Infinix, most mid-range phones will not receive the Android 13 update as only premium ones stand a chance even though it’ll be late distribution.
This is because the Transsion Holding company is yet to fully roll out the recent Android 12 update. However, the good news is that, according to Infinix India CEO, the Infinix Zero 5G will receive Android 12 in August 2022. With this, we expect other flagship phones to follow suit.
