Just a few months after the release of the Hot 12 and Hot 12i, infinix began the marketing of its latest Hot 20 series with four smartphone models. The new Infinix Hot 20 was launched alongside other variants like the Hot 20 Play, Hot 20i, and Hot 20 5G which brings a whole new camera module and upgraded camera specs
Asides from that, the Infinix Hot 20 shares almost the same specs as the previous model, mainly on the screen which measures 6.82-inch with a 90Hz of refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. Additionally, the Infinix Hot 20 has a Mediatek Helio G85 processor which is paired with Mali-G52 2EEMC2 and expandable 128GB of storage.
The RAM comes in either 4GB or 6GB depending on the model you choose, while there’s a 5000mAh battery that features 18W fast charging support. Specifically, the Infinix Hot 20 claims to match the capabilities of some premium phones. The smartphone has a 50MP sensor on the rear which is incredible, but the performance is a different story.
Nevertheless, the Infinix Hot 20 performs like every lower mid-range smartphone you’ll find in the same price range. Possibly, you can get a better smartphone with 5G network connectivity if you add a few more dollars to this phone’s $126 price tag, but the Hot 20 is a very nice mobile phone, Now let’s go through the full review of the new device

Fortunately, it’s currently available in several online retail stores across Thailand where it’s being launched. Additionally, you can also buy other models of the Infinix Hot 20 series depending on the region you’re residing in.

Design and Display
One of the advantages of using lower mid-range phones is that they’re compact and easy to hold in one hand. So those who aren’t used to the big and bulky phones of today will like the design of the Infinix Hot 20. The smartphone is made from a plastic material which may not look all that premium but feels very solid to handle.
On the back, the Hot 20 appears in several colors that varies by the model you choose. You’ll also find a camera bump that houses two camera lenses with a Quad-LED flashlight. We noticed that the camera bump pops out a little which may make the phone wobbly when kept on a table, so you’ll need to make use of the provided silicone case in the box.
Turning to the front panel, there’s a 6.82-inch IPS LCD display that offers sufficient real estate for watching content. The Infinix Hot 20 features a 90Hz of refresh rate and 720 x 1640 resolution. The color of the display looks great, same as the brightness which makes the phone visible even under sunlight.
- The Infinix Zero Ultra is another great high-end device you can buy
Camera
The Infinix Hot 20 comes with an impressive camera setup on the rear. Though that’s just a two-camera setup, they can capture even more detailed photos than most cheap phones that flaunt numerous camera sensors. The main camera is a 50MP sensor that’s backed with an Al lens. It would have been perfect to complete the setup with a telephoto or ultra-wide lens, but an Al lens is nice anyways.
The main camera captures some great photos in good light scenarios where photos have bright and vibrant colors. Unfortunately, taking photos at night might just be a waste of time because the night mode may not offer any good results unless there’s a street light or ambient light support to brighten up the scene a little bit.
The front camera features an 8MP sensor which is good for capturing decent selfies. The 8MP sensor produces a decent amount of detail to make while capturing selfies to make the image of the subject stand out.

For storage, the Infinix Hot 20 features an expandable 128GB of internal storage paired with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM depending on the variant you choose. However, those with the 6GB storage variant can get up to 11GB through the Infinix Memory Fusion Technology.
However, you should know that this is the 4G LTE variant, but you can easily ogo for the Infinix Hot 20 5G with some advanced features if you want the latest network connectivity. Meanwhile, our list of best 5G phones to buy this year will give you varieties of other LTE smartphone choices that matches your budget and features.

Infinix Hot 20: Battery
