The Infinix Note 10 has a gradient finish with a stripes pattern on the back that makes it look like a flagship device. With an absence of a fingerprint reader on the back, the rectangular camera module is positioned alone in the top left corner. First things first, the 6.95-inch display is among the biggest in modern smartphones. For perspective, the latest Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra which is a flagship phone is slightly lower with a 6.8-inch screen. Meanwhile, while the size might be a turn off for those who detest large displays, we love it as it paves way for a wider viewing experience. Moreover, Note 10 has average dimensions that make it easy to flip inside your trouser pocket.
Meanwhile, the Infinix Note 10 has quality display features. The 6.95-inch screen is showing at Full HD+ (1080 x 2460 pixels) resolution with a 60Hz smooth refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. However, if you want a 90Hz refresh rate phone that produces a smoother and more responsive experience, the bigger Note 10 Pro has all that but sells at a slightly higher price.

Camera
On the camera side, the Infinix Note 10 features a triple camera setup on the rear that’s headed by a 48MP main camera, a 2MP macro lens, and another 2MP telephoto lens. The Note 10 camera performance is what you’d expect from a mid-range device. It performs great in a well-lit environment with a good portrait mode that maintains focus on the subject.
More so, the camera AI perfectly blurs the background without losing focus on the subject. However, indoor shots didn’t go that well, but it’s quite good for social media uploads. Upfront is a 16MP selfie camera with Beauty Mode and support for Super Low Light Mode. This is an average camera that’ll serve you decently in video calls and occasional selfies as it’s not the best in this category.
On the video side, the Infinix Note 10 can shoot quality 1440p and 1080p videos at 30fps. The phone provides an avenue for decent video shooting that’s good to upload on your different social media handles.
Performance and Software
The Infinix Note 10 comes with a MediaTek Helio G85 chipset that’s paired with dual RAM and storage options of 4GB /6GB and 64GB /128GB respectively. When it comes to normal day-to-day performance, the Note 10 showed no sign of lagging while switching between two apps and other more stringent processes like gaming. However, the phone heats up after long hours of gaming, but that’s normal in mid-range devices.
While we have quite acceptable performance, the same can’t be said for the phone’s UI. The Android 11-based XOS 7.6 software comes with a lot of bloatware apps and ads which hinders the smooth experience of the phone.
These ads are turned on by default once you have an active data connection, but you can dismiss them by swiping right. However, you can easily customize some tweaks and settings that come with the new Android 11.
